About the Wampler Faux Spring Reverb Pedal
The Wampler Faux Spring Reverb is a fat, watery spring reverb in a pedal... without the springs! Many reverbs go through an analog to digital conversion and then convert back from digital to analog after making the reverb echoes.
Wampler Faux Spring Reverb Pedal Reviews
I've received two of these that were not working. Zero reverb effect from either. I've tried several One spot and Boss 9v adapters/swapping (Lava) cables and could only get the blue light to go on. For $229.00 I was expecting a stellar reverb pedal only to be disappointed that I couldn't get either to work. Zzounds was however prompt with sending RMA's and even paid for shipping for the exchange for the first pedal, as well as the returned 2nd pedal. I really commend them for the customer support. I emailed Wampler for suggestions and failed to get a single response back. Which surprises me, considering that I've heard nothing but great things about Wampler pedals from various friends. What sold me on this pedal were some of the excellent demo's on youtube. Thus, I'm really surprised by the lack of support and the questionable quality of this product. Look elsewhere for better workmanship and support priced far cheaper than $229.00.
