The Wample Ego Compressor is unlike any other compression pedal out there. Like many guitarists, Brian (from Wampler) has always been looking for a compressor that was transparent while still giving the sound a very pleasant thickening quality.

Very transparent to the guitar tone, wide range of all controls to dial in any amount of compression effect or just go all clean boost. The blend control allows you to bring in your std signal and mix with compressed. I do not do the county thing but this makes your clean tones as well as gains sparkle with sustain and presence so much better than a clean boost effect. Really an amazing pedal. Wampler is just top shelf all the way!
