About the Schecter Gary Holt V-1 Electric Guitar
There's nothing like a Schecter V, the playability and hard-edge tone keep you rocking all night. The Schecter Gary Holt V1 is the epitome of metal guitar mastery with its mahogany body, Grover Rotomatic tuners, red EMG 81 and 89 humbuckers and Floyd Rose original tremolo. You don't have to be a fan of Exodus to love the look, feel and tone of this guitar.
Schecter Gary Holt V-1 Electric Guitar Reviews
I saw this guitar and knew I had to have it. I fell in love with the look of it, and finally purchased it and couldn't be happier. It sounds great, looks great, and is built to last. The only concern I had when purchasing this guitar was tilt. A quick adjustment took care of it completely. The finish is great, the logo on the 12th fret looks fantastic. It's a simple, but beautiful looking guitar. The EMG 81/89s sound amazing. I love to play heavy stuff, but for those other times you can use the coil tap to get the single coil sound out of it, and you would think you had a Fender in your hands. You can play the heaviest riffs and quickest leads with no trouble on the fast neck. The size is perfect, it's not so big that you can't reach the low E string and not so thin as to feel like there's nothing there. The weight is good overall, and provides excellent sustain. The ultra-access cutout is great to help reach those high notes on those tough solos. The Floyd Rose bridge is great. Your guitar won't need a retuning for a very long time, no matter how much dive-bombing is going on. The controls are simple, with just volume and a pickup switcher, but they work easily with no issues. If you're having any doubts, buy this beast and try it out. You won't be disappointed!
