Other features include metal feet, a solid, broad neck section with an additional neck pad, thick foam material insert in the center of the cover - with foam rubber strengthened inner edges and additional impact protection.

This case is an excellent value. Check the specs for interior dimensions(!). The single star reviewer complained about a 12.75" wide Strat not fitting the 13.6" interior width; Hmmm. Universal does not mean that it fits all electric guitars. The sides are padded and my 13.25" Corvette fits perfectly snug. Highly recommended.
