I was looking for a small tube amp that wouldn't wake the family when I decide to record music at 2am. This amp has some great tone. I have played some very crisp clean tones and gt a nice bluesy distorted tone out it of just messing around with it. I have also tried a few effects pedals which have produce some nice ear candy. I have a couple Fender Tube amps at 60 watts and I think this Marshall will hold up well to them in smaller venues and shows. Very impressed with the overall product and let me sat this is the first Marshall amp I ever owned.
