Bought this bass sight and playing (obviously) unseen and was very happy with that! Did try a similar SR at Guitar Center. While of course not a Pedulla, etc. the bang for the buck is awesome! Very nice black stain quilt maple. I realize that to keep the cost down this baby was born in China, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Also just a slight quibble: the b string (pickups) is slighlty more muddy than the rest but no big deal. VAST range of sounds. Solid build. 5 piece neck! Love it!
