About the Ibanez AEG10E AEG Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The AEG series' slender, single-cutaway bodies deliver powerful and balanced acoustic sound, unplugged or through an amp or PA system. These guitars combine easy playability, classic solid and sunburst finishes and mahogany bodies with spruce tops to create a quality, workhorse acoustic guitar that will rise to any occasion. High quality Fishman(R) Sonicore(R) pickups and Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter(TM) preamps with onboard tuners provide the sparkling tones that sound great in any venue.

I owned this guy for about 4 years and have used it in live situations and around the campfire. It sounds decent, but, put this up against a full body before you buy. Once I made the switch I will not go back. The sound isnt bad but its a bit lacking in the low end, a kinda middle of the road mellow sound acounstically. Mine had a great action and with the thinner ibanez neck makes it super easy to play. She really shines plugged in, the onboard eq make it easy to plug into a mixer and get playing. This is a great guitar for the open micer or someone who will be playing a lot with a band. If you will predominantly be playing acoustically, I'd say keep this in mind, but scope out some other options, especially ones with bigger bodies. shes held up with 0 issues for the 4 or 5 years I've owned her and I expect her to last much longer
