It is a no brainer to install. I cannot give a high five though on the recording software that is included. Ableton Live Lite 8 in my opinion sucks. I suggest either using Audacity which is a free download or Mixcraft 5. I personally like Mixcraft 5 because it is VERY user friendly and I have already made some very nice recordings using it.
