Tone snobs will turn up their nose at the Fender Frontman name and say kids amp. But, they are wrong. Install a pair of any brand quality speakers and this amp is capable of holding its own with anything I've heard over the years. I bought it for it's cleans, and after changing out the cheap (spelled C-H-E-A-P) speakers, the good headroom, became great headroom, and the good tone was also vastly improved. The distortion channel was also improved. Not tubes, but not bad.
