Tone... Tradition... Innovation. Fender's new American Deluxe Stratocaster(r) HSS is for guitarists who want a little more from their axes. A compound radius fretboard allows effortless string bending anywhere along the neck, and two new N3 Noiseless(tm) pickups provide improved Stratocaster tones while the DH-1 humbucking bridge pickup has more output for fatter lead tones all with no hum. Reconfigured S-1(tm) switching offers other distinctive tonal options. The all-new switch instantly routes your signal from any pickup position to the bridge position with the tone circuit bypassed, giving you more overtones and a little more volume. Other features include staggered locking tuners, LSR roller nut, two-point synchronized American Deluxe tremolo bridge with pop-in arm, and beveled neck heel.

First of all, the quality of this Strat is perfect in every way. The action and even tuning were nearly perfect right out of the case. The finish is absolute perfection with not even the smallest flaw. It is truly a great guitar!The only problem I had was a missing tremelo arm. I called ZZounds, and unbeliveably they could not replace the arm! They offered to take it back and send me a whole new guitar, though.. Seems ridiculous to send back a perfect guitar just for a missing tremelo bar. I have spent considerable time trying to locate a new one, and Fender finally came through after three weeks of waiting.
