About the Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy Delay Pedal
What is it that makes a performance legend? Experience and design integrity make a legend. Since the early 1970's, Electro-Harmonix has been designing analog delays featured on some of the greatest recordings and used by legendary musicians throughout the world. From the original Memory Man to the Deluxe Memory Man, still available today, EHX delays are desired instruments for the organic tones that deliver textures that define quality.
Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy Delay Pedal Reviews
It sounds good when it works. The initial attraction to me was the control pedal/CV jack. Though in practice it is not usable in any artistic way. I was hopingI would be able to adjust the length of the delay time to more closely match teh tempo of what I was playing. Instead it gos from top to bottom of its delay time in afraction of an inch. This is with, Moog, Roland and Ernie Ball pedals. It does sound good, but yuo have to be sure you get your levels right. It sounds ugly when overdriven, and noisy if fed a quiet signal. Mine broke after a couple weeks. It still passes signal, but no delay.
