I had to return the first one cause it had a dent in the chassis on the rear. It worked fine but Behringer recommended I return it since it had suffered blunt force trauma somehow. This is a good amp for the money. You get more than you pay with Behringer. It is lacking Phantom power. I Like the simpleness of controls Resembles the Peavey KB series. It does not have the bass wow factor of my Peavey KB5. I think the dual speakers and horn on the KB5 sound a little better. It is easier on the back than my KB5 and I really don't like the handle and rollers on the KB5. They are clunky. I also like the fuzzy finish more than the vinyl. I don't blast it so I couldn't tell you about the bass at higher Db's. I use it in my living room with a Roland Juno Gi. so I don't want the Ladies stuff buzzin off the niknak shelves. If I want more bass at low volumes for the Floyd stuff, I just hook my 125Watt Subwoofer in the handy sub out port. The amp's sound is clean and there are no hisses as reported in the lower model Ultratones. As for the missing phantom power, my Juno has a mic port with phantom. I need the large speaker amps to get the nice sounds from my synth at low volume. I have tried the little super monitors and little wonder amps. I don't even like the little Rolands. Maybe my old ears flap over but I know what I like and this amp does ok by me (keeping my subwoof handy.)
